Mick Sollitt (Bass Guitar and Vocals)
Mick, who is Tom’s elder brother, owns a Status 5-string Stealth bass and plugs it in to Eden amplification. Plays in ‘party’ band Huge and used to be in a band called Vaseline Symphonia. Played bass for Justin Timberlake and his bass rig once went on a full UK tour with the ‘Butthole Surfers’, and returned intact! ... not all of the above is necessarily true..... |

Kev Harton (Acoustic and Electric Guitars)
‘East end boy’ Kev plays a Fender Stratocaster through Mesa Boogie ‘Lonestar’ amplification and a baffling array of pedals. Favourite dance is the ‘Moonwalk’ and he’s a big fan of ‘The Shadows’ ... being in them that is, ..... not the group! Strums a Takamine 6 string acoustic and a Takamine 12 string. Loves to relax at home with his nearest, furthest and dearest ..... just a few tantalising feet away from his favourite chair! |

Dave Sykes (Electric Guitar and Vocals)
Dave is determined to have owned every guitar ever made before they screw down the lid on his box .... but hey! .... why be without it for £800 per month? Constantly tormented by his nemesis Pike, he has mysteriously taken to learning the keyboards. His only other ambitions are to have the cleanest roof in Acomb and to be able to shuffle “just like the Quo” .. even though that last one is clearly unachievable. Plays a Fender Stratocaster through Mesa Boogie amplification and oh!,... who cares?? .... it will be something different next week!! |

Jon Stewart (Lead Vocal)
Also the current ‘frontman’ with local band ‘The Mothers’, Jon has an uncanny knack for sounding more than a bit like his favourite singers .... Roger Daltrey,.. Chris Martin,..... Harry Belafonte, to name but a few!! Likes to experiment with facial hair, which we think could be a tactic designed to avoid recognition by some of his clickety-hipped fans.... thankfully ‘the naked postman’ has finally realised when enough is enough, although that was still way too far for the steward at the Acomb Club. Sings into a Shure microphone and swings it around his head dangerously using Belden cable. |

Dave ‘Pike’ Longhawn (Keyboards)
‘Stereo’ Pike has turned 24 now and has developed a penchant for the occasional startling outburst. Some of his best include ... “it’s just like being in Genesis!” (when rehearsing ‘Turn it on Again’) ...... “I’ve never been so excited in all my life!!” (when finding himself first in the queue at a ‘hogroast’) ..... but our favourite (and without the slightest hint of irony and in all seriousness) “How dare you be 45 minutes late?!! .... Pike is Dave’s brother from another planet!..... . He plays a Yamaha thing and a Hammond VK something or other in our band and several others, notably DSQ , ...... really well though! |

Tom Sollitt (Drums)
Back in the UK after a 15 month spell in Australia avoiding getting a proper job , Tom has returned to his favourite pastime .... turning anything other than Japanese oak drumsticks into matchwood .. Promark 5A’s being the current weapons of choice. Also rehearsing with some other young ‘uns in a project codenamed ‘The Paper Tigers’ ..... watch this space. The kit’s a sunburst Pearl Masters Custom and he uses Zildjian and Sabian cymbals. The snare drum is a Tama and it’s diameter is 13”,....that’s definitely 13” .....yes, without doubt. .... anyone want to buy some 12” drum heads? ... give him a call, he’s got a couple not doing anything ....
